Terms
The service
UplinkSwitch is run by Uplink Switch LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. It is an API gateway: it accepts requests at api.uplinkswitch.com with your UplinkSwitch key, applies the limits set on that key, forwards the request to the model provider, returns the response and records what happened. Using the service means agreeing to these terms.
Keys
- You are responsible for every request made with your keys. Keep them out of client-side code and shared repositories.
- A key is shown once when it is created.
- A revoked key stops working within 60 seconds.
Bring your own key
- When you store a provider key, you confirm that your agreement with that provider allows a third party to hold the key and send requests on your behalf.
- You remain the provider's customer. Their usage policies and their bill for tokens are yours.
Payment
- The balance is prepaid. The minimum top-up is $10.00 and top-ups are not refundable.
- Each request settles against the balance at the price shown for its model or mode at the time of the request.
- A request that fails before reaching the upstream, or that the upstream does not answer, is not charged.
- A payment that is refunded or disputed through Whop is reversed in the ledger, and keys may be paused until the balance is positive.
Limits and suspension
Every key carries a request-per-minute limit and a concurrency limit. Keys used to break a provider's usage policies, or to attack the service, may be revoked.
Availability
UplinkSwitch publishes no service level agreement yet. The service is provided as is, and liability for any claim is limited to the unused balance on the account at the time of the claim.
